HSCC+ICCPS 2027 PC Invitation Service Terms of Service

Only HSCC+ICCPS 2027 program chairs and their specifically authorized operators may use restricted operating functions. Invitees may use only the individualized response link sent to them and must not share, probe, automate, or interfere with another person's invitation.

The service delivers and reconciles organizer-approved Program Committee invitations and follow-ups and records deliberate invitation responses, including optional field-level confirmation of a public roster profile and either a proposed headshot or the conference's standard avatar. It is not a general messaging service. A photo or profile URL discovered by the chairs is only a proposal; it is not public-use permission. An invitation is not an appointment, and an acceptance does not itself create HotCRP access or website publication; accepted profiles enter separate chair-reviewed onboarding and publication processes.

Operators must protect credentials, review each authorized recipient set and invitation, respect delivery holds and limits, investigate ambiguous outcomes before retrying, and retire access when it is no longer needed. The service must not be used for bulk unsolicited outreach, advertising, surveillance, credential sharing, or any unlawful or unrelated purpose.

Use of the service is subject to its Privacy Policy. Invitees may request access to or correction, restriction, or deletion of their information and may withdraw optional roster or future-contact choices through the privacy contact, subject to necessary security, legal, audit, and suppression obligations.

The program chairs may hold, restrict, or retire the service to protect recipients, accounts, or conference operations. The service is provided for this bounded conference function and may be unavailable during maintenance, incident response, or closeout.
